Another green charity hat. I’m knitting for the local Area 1Aging Agency. They are for those in assistive living, senior homes, nursing homes. They collect them for the residents. One of my knitting buddies was asked to ask us to make them.

Switching between a. Melt the 🧊 hat and the oversized, chunky, cuddly sweater for my daughter.
The hat gave me an excuse to order Zing DPNs for decreasing, verses magic looping. 😁 I 🩵 magic loop, but the Zings were too cute to resist.

Laundry day for my sweaters, hats and scarves. A pile of assorted hand knitted items is in the background, with my favorite short sleeve bulky sweater in the foreground of my counter. The one I’m washing first is a cream bulky sweater with a geometric colorwork design on pinks & pumpkin orange.
It’s finally warm enough to start washing, blocking, defuzzing & storing away my sweaters for the season 🌞
I typically start with bulky sweaters & work my way down to fingering & lace weight last (which I might still need)

Inspired by the amazingly skilled #knitters on here, I am trying something I hope will be simple enough for me.
Aran garter stitch cardigan. Drop-spindle handspun, home-dyed Romney Marsh wool.
90stitches on those needles so I am advised I need to get circular needles as it will go up to 162stt!
