Cover of the Billy pattern by West Yorkshire Spinners. It’s a stocking stitch jumper for babies/toddlers using their Bo Peep yarn. It’s a simple drop shoulder design with the left shoulder open and secured with three buttons.
The jumper in progress. I’m using their Rosemary colorway and am almost to the 11 cm mark. There’s a yellowish ruler on the right. It was a promotional item from a mortgage company from back in the day when these things were routinely given out. My mom picked it up along the way. It’s easily older than any of my kids. It makes me happy to have something that my mom used, particularly because it’s an everyday item that no one else would know the significance of and something I use all the time.
I guess today is going to be a baby knits kind of day. The first thing I reached for to stress knit on is the itty bitty jumper for Quinn. It’s a little bit too cropped for me. Pattern calls for marking bottom of armholes at 11 cm but I think I’m going to go to 14 ish. #KnittingForBaby #Knitting 🧶

My vanilla sock recipe has 9 sizes. 6 for kids & 3 for adults. I haven’t knit all the middle sizes to measure the foot length yet and add that info to my notes. That’s an ongoing project. But here’s the difference between size 1 and 2 (newborn/premie and newborn-3 mos). #KnittingForBaby 🧶 #Socks

I’m still on the same skein of Lana Grossa sock yarn. This is the 1st size 1 sock to go with the size 1 hat.
This is the 1st size 2 sock out of the Rave yarn. Since Rave is DK weight this is more like a size 3.
I’m on the heel flap of the first of Jake’s socks.
