After I got caught up the TP I was too lazy to walk across the hall and get Jake’s sock out of my room. So this happened. If you recall, this is the Midwinter Glow colorway from #LichenAndLace. I’ve come to believe that these colors are so ugly together that they’re pretty. #Knitting 🧶

Sea Holly is the blue I recently purchased. The other 3 are new. It will be interesting to see which greens I choose as I’m using Shrubs, Baby Leaves, and Forrest this year.

I already have Teal Tide and Citron. I’m looking to punch editing up with the neon pink and orange.

I’m looking for another red to add.

I can’t wait to see how or if Melrose fits in. The good news is that whatever I decide to not use in the temperature Project will still make some gorgeous socks.

I’m already working on how I plan to change up next year’s temperature project. I’m staying with #LichenAndLace but will be swapping out a few colors. I ordered 7 new colors today. Everything in these pics might be part of next year’s palette.

I’m on my third pair of socks using #LichenAndLace. The first were Wild Flower with Lichen accents (these went to Phaja). Second was Day Lily with Sweet Potato accents (these went to Kim) and now I’m making Sweet Potato fit me. A mini pair of Wild Flower went to baby Quinn. #Knitting 🧶

Rainbow fingerless mitt V1.0. The ribbing on the wrist and fingers is 3x2 and the hand is plain.

V2.0 in progress next to V1.0. The new version has a 2x2 rib on the wrist and then it switches to a 6x2 rib for the hand. The thumb gusset on the 1st one was pretty straight forward since the hand was plain stockinet. On V2 the gusset is between two purl stitches.

Pulled another project from the Land of Misfit WiPs today…the Rainbow fingerless mitts. Finally finished tucking the tails of the 1st version and am getting stitches in on V2.0. Info on the changes is in the alt text. Yarn is by #LichenAndLace
