Day 28 of #LGBTHM25 : the extraordinary, 2m tall, marble #Antinous Farnese, comprises an ancient Antinous head, known from 1530, mounted atop an unrelated ancient body, probably after 1591, when both pieces were owned by the Farnese family. The carving of the locks, eyes and brows is breathtaking. ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
