Day 20 of #LGBTplus25: the upper, 70 cm, portion of a Greek marble statue of #Antinous rediscovered in 1671 - somewhat astonishingly - within a quarry outside Rome. The piece was purchased by Cardinal Leopoldo de Medici and entered Florence's famed Uffizi Galleries in 1676. ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ
