#LGEN - people have been buying this morning - after fall - (a lot of people) . Its the ONLY big dividend stock in the FTSE 100 that has not yet gone ex-dividend... It goes ex-div on the 24th April.
this is one of my Stockchallenge shares for March. I hope it goes up but Legal and General did not after its good results... So its not in the bag yet...

LGEN are going to give 40% of their capital back to shareholders over the next 3 years via dividends and buybacks. On top of that the Japanese are going to buy 5% of the company...
This rise should have legs of at least 12 months.
#LGEN sold US protection business to Meiji Yasuda for $2.3bn and formed strategic partnership. Deal enables £1bn share buyback and strengthens L&G's US Pension Risk Transfer growth. L&G expects to return 40% of its mkt cap to shareholders from 2025-7 via dividends and buybacks. Currently yield 8.9%
