#TGIF Plus, it’s a bonus that it’s the 2nd day of #MarchMadness today, and one more week until Spring Break! Also, only 52 more days and my novel, #LaLadyFund will be released. There’s not one, or two, but three strong Latina characters that I can’t wait to share with all of you!

Well, I’m waiting patiently for May 11th, which is the day my novel, #LaLadyFund comes out. There’s nothing to do but wait. I’m so excited! #Writers

I did some minor editing for a short story that will be published in mid January. I’m glad I could get one more story published before #LaLadyFund comes out in April. If you like strong female protagonists, then this book will be for you. #WritingCommunity

By Tuesday, I will officially be done editing the galley proofs for #LaLadyFund All I need to do is input the Spanish corrections. Then when the corrections are made, I’ll read it again, because, you know, paying attention to detail is important. I’m excited getting this work of Love ready for all!

Since today is #Thanksgiving, I’ll share what I’m thankful for. My immediate family, my wife & grandson. Both are amazing ❤️❤️. My career as a HS English teacher, & I’m also thankful that my next book, #LaLadyFund will be published on April 1, 2026. I’m so thankful to #God. Thy will be done.

I’m trying to be less obsessive, so instead of reading the last 3 chapters of galley proofs for #LaLadyFund this morning, I’m going to enjoy today’s Thanksgiving Day by relaxing and watching football. I wish everyone an excellent and peaceful Thanksgiving Day. #ChicanoFiction #WritingCommunity 👊🏽

#WritingCommunity I started editing the galley proofs for #LaLadyFund this morning. I’ll be finished with it on Thanksgiving Day. I’m reading 27 pages per day, or 5 chapters. I don’t want to go too fast. I haven’t found anything major, just a few questions for my editor. I’m so excited!

OMG, I got the galley proofs back from #LaLadyFund. Just seeing it in book form and not just from a Word doc is so exciting. I thought I’d get it towards the end of the week, but it came in last night. I’m on cloud nine today, and probably for the rest of the week! #WritingCommunity

I’m so excited that my novel, #LaLadyFund will be published this January. After 2 and a half years of querying, I finally found a publisher! It’s #ChicanoFiction with not just one, but two strong female characters. It’ll resonate with good people, but the Christian Nationalist will hate it.

I’m almost half way done making corrections on #LaLadyFund. I should be done tomorrow. Then I send it off again. Then the next time I see it will be in the galley proofs. I can’t wait! #WritingCommunity

#CFB is on so my relaxation period for the weekend begins now. But I’ll make corrections for the first 20 chapters of #LaLadyFund this weekend. Not any rewriting, just adding missing letters and deleting extra commas and periods. It’ll be back in my editors hands by Tuesday morning at 6 am.

Today, I get my manuscript back. Was making sure the Spanish was written correctly. I only have minor changes, like an extra comma at end of a period, or a word missing a letter. Easy fixes. I'll send this back to my editor & next week, I'll have the galley proofs. #LaLadyFund is almost here!

#WritingCommunity I'm proud of myself for waking up at 4am, on a Saturday, and finish reading the edited proof of #LaLadyFund from my editor. It took me 5 hours but now I can watch #CFB guilt free. Tomorrow I'll drop this copy to a friend to read. It'll take him 2 days to read. Cont. 1/2

#WritingCommunity I'm in the middle of reading the edits from #LaLadyFund from my editor. If I do say so myself, this is a great story, and I can't wait until publication day this coming January.

I'm reading the edits of #LaLadyFund and about every minute, I stop and thank God for the opportunity to share my work with others. I've put love in this work and am so #grateful and #humbled that my book will be coming out in January.

I was thinking of #LaLadyFund, my novel that’ll will be published 1/26. It opens with the MC, Diana Solis, driving back to #ElPaso from a business trip, grateful to have people who can run her business while she’s away. It’s amazing that something I thought of, will soon be shared with the world!

Today is my last free day b4 the school year starts. Was a relaxing summer. I got to decompress, got my fill of streaming services, published a short story, then learned that my manuscript, #LaLadyFund will be published in January of '26. I've never looked more forward to a school year than today!
