We had a wonderful time at the opening performance at the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival on Saturday afternoon. La Santa Cecilia were terrific fun! And the spectacular “Alebrijes y Nahuales” installation (US premiere, 6 week run) is a must see there on the grounds. Unique magical sculptures by Oaxacan artisans. Only when we were driving home did we realize we missed the big Bunny holding a giant lime wedge! Hopefully we’ll get to see that soon however as legendary latin music pioneer Joe Bataan is playing next weekend (May 17 2-4:30). More info at: ybgfestival (dot org)
