A photo of my sketchbook on a table open to a sketchy marker illustration of a lady knight entwined by roses on a wooden medieval throne. The knight wears an armet helmet, obscuring her face, but long pale locks tumble from the base of the helmet. The illustration is a reference to the Dornröschen (Sleeping Beauty) sculpture by Louis Sussmann-Hellborn.
A close-up of the illustration showing the lady knight resting on the throne.
I’ve had the idea to draw my lady knight in an illustration that referenced the Sleeping Beauty by Louis Sussmann-Hellborn. As I mentioned before, I adore my Royal Talens sketchbook and it’s rekindled my love for markers! #ladyknight
