A little girl in black & white heart leggings and a blue bow, her face hidden by a quizzical smiley emoji, holds a neon green sign that reads, "STOP HURTING INNOCENT PEOPLE." In front of her feet is a paper memorial to victims of ICE violence where she has added the messages, "🚫ICE Out🚫," Stop Hurting Innocent People," and "Vote for Someone Else."
A woman, face hidden by a smiley emoji, stands on the sidewalk in front of grass and bushes and holds a pinata of an ICE agent up high. The pinata is a gray and black loser wearing a black tactical vest that says 'POLICE/ICE' a black bandanna mask and shades. Its spindly arms and legs reveal that he routinely slips leg day and arm day. To the woman's left another protestor holds a sign that reads, "My Dad Fought For This? FUCK ICE"
In front of Lakewood City Hall's brick facade is the gigantic holiday tree, covered in colorful ornaments. Closer to the camera sit gigantic red & yellow wrapped presents and toy drums. Two person-sized nutcrackers flank a red & gold-trimmed sleigh embossed with a message: "Greetings from City of Lakewood, California" and the triangular, stylized logo of houses, bushes, trees, and up above them a flag on flagpole in front of a sun/full moon. Standing awkwardly in the sleigh is a gray and black ICE agent pinata with tactical vest, bandanna mask and shades. He's ready to take off for his ultimate destination: hell.
A huge poster of a photorealistic Trump-shaped pile of shit topped by his blonde combover leans next to a dripped-out woman in a cowboy hat, turquoise jewelry, southwestern-style jacket, sensible shoes, & black gloves as she sits in a motorized wheelchair looking at the camera. Behind her & to her right are a crowd of protestors. All faces are hidden with smiley emojis. To her left, half out of frame, is a cardboard sign that says, "I Remember When ICE Was Called The KKK."
Our protesters had a lot to say today. Thank you all for showing up!
