The Land Gap Report 2025
🌍 New #LandGap report at #COP30 is damning: Govts are banking on 1BN ha of land (the size of 🇦🇺) for carbon removals – instead of cutting emissions or protecting forests.
That land doesn’t exist without displacing Indigenous Peoples, small farmers & forests.

Remember: this is the minimum temp rise to expect given current policies continue. Flawed country emissions reporting, #LandGap in pledges, rapid permafrost melting not included in climate models etc may well cause higher temps.
