Un goéland adulte perché sur une cheminée en béton partiellement couverte de mousse. Le goéland est de face légèrement orienté vers la droite. Il se tient debout, le cou dressé. Son dos est baigné de soleil. Le fond derrière lui est flou mais on distingue des arbres, des habitations et un ciel bleu lumineux.

El gavià argentat de potes grogues (Larus michahellis) és el més gran que podem veure a la Mediterrània, fins a 1,30 metres d'envergadura. Els hem vist caçar cries de ànec, de fotja, crancs, coloms... Aquest exemplar juvenil, però, va preferir endur-se volant una rata. Imatge amb un gavià jove volant damunt l'aigua amb una rata a les potes.
