I'm attending an interesting panel that spans from attitudes to pronouns in trans/non binary people in Germany, to grammatical & social gender in Hindi and other indian languages, and tone/identity work in Sajiao in China.Very important to learn about contexts/languages other than English #lavlang31

I’m travelling to Manchester for #LavLang31 today, to present a paper that is strikingly relevant right now. In two months, there are national elections in the Netherlands. On Thursday, I present my study on the representation of trans rights in the previous elections. A short teaser:
