The buckskin I buy from local Native American trade shows / powwows. The rabbit was the result of one of my own hunting trips. I don’t believe in hunting for sport. Life is not sport. The bunny was food and I appreciate its sacrifice. All parts were used so nothing was wasted. The chicken foot was from an Ayam Cemani rooster, he was a good boy.
My current (and growing) collection of rocks! There’s tiger’s eye, blue tiger’s eye (I am told is also called Hawk’s eye), green goldstone, blue goldstone, bumblebee jasper, mookite jasper, petrified wood, Apache tears, black tourmaline, quartz, carnelian, smoky quartz, and bloodstone.
Bones are fox vertebrae. Foot is black chicken foot. Rock is a cool sliced agate used cowhide strips on chicken foot. Waxed cord for fox vertebrae and agate.
I like doodling on my crafts. Obviously, I love chickens and think they are amongst the most noble of animals. The buttons are coconut, they help keep the rocks inside, as I carry this pouch with me.
Wanted to share some of my leather working, things I’ve made. I made a pouch that I carry around with rocks I like. Pouch is buckskin and rabbit fur (the rabbit was lunch, I hunt and do so for food, use all animal parts). Extra info in pic descriptions
