a preview of my fic for the 'One With the Weave' zine. the fic is titled 'A Worthy Reprieve' and the content of the preview is as follows: Gale gasped. This felt incredibly romantic—more romantic than he believed he deserved. He needed to be honest. “I must tell you, Halsin… It has been quite some time since I last shared my bed with anyone.” But Halsin just smiled softly in return. It was warm; it made Gale feel safe. “If you’re trying to discourage me, I fear that will not work.” His thumb swiped across Gale’s cheek in a loving caress, and Gale had to stop himself from surging forward onto his tip-toes to kiss the tall elf before him. “May I kiss you?” Gale asked, the words tumbling from his lips before he could stop them. “I believe that’s a good way to begin,” Halsin replied with a tender smile before leaning down and closing the gap between them.
