UPDATE: the encakening happened, despite their very homemade appearance they were declared delicious, and my Colombian and Dominican colleagues said the tres leches cake tasted exactly right so yay I win at today! #LexiBakesYVR 🍽️🍜

After last night’s baking adventure, I’m up early filling and frosting this cake in my terrible kitchen table lighting. Now all that’s left to do is whip cream to top the tres leches cake right before serving. And somehow get three cakes to the office this morning without mishap!🍜🍽️ #LexiBakesYVR
