Well, the Dr Z rec is sure a fun diversionary #LibrarianSoundtrack —thx; listening now while surfing bsky. I usually don’t love instrumental stuff (I need lyrics, even if I’m not listening to them), but these IDK retro surf music vibes are really cool.

Driving to school, major nerve pain in my arm, revisiting teen metalhead days, Metallica’s wall of noise killer riffs feeling therapeutic, when loud enough, supplants the pain (Master of Puppets has a slightly new nuance to its meaning) a little as medication kicks in.
Today’s inventory/etc/etc #LibrarianSoundtrack brought to you by inspiration from a REM variant in my head this morning (It’s The End of the *Year* As We Know It…and I Feel Fine—but overdramatic for school end, though for state of the actual world…) so selected an REM playlist.

Re-listening to Rush's Power Windows album today. #LibrarianSoundtrack
Checked it out via streaming convenience this past week as my #LibrarianSoundtrack. Any Better was my fave song. Just now, purchased the album via Bandcamp because I don’t like robbing indie bands of some potential income/monetary feedback.

No #LibrarianSoundtrack post in ages, but, for morning gym-o-rama outing I listened to @realdollyparton.bsky.social Rockstar—something different. When folks do covers, I always want them to be real departures from originals; with Dolly’s unique voice/vocal stylings and accent, that auto-happens. 👍
