A veces es bueno dejarse "engañar" por las trampas de un film para disfrutarlo completamente. Si eres capaz de asumir esa premisa, disfrutarás mucho de #LifeItself una peli literaria, sobre levantarse ante los golpes, con estupendas interpretaciones. Lo sé, soy un facilón.. pero es una elección.

#LifeItself - I wish the film was as joyous as this photo looks. A very mixed bag and judging by Letterboxd some really angry reviews.

So I'm halfway through #LifeItself, the last episode of #StarTrekDiscovery, and I can't help thinking wouldn't it be poetic justice if Michael mutinied again at the end? Something in the way she tells Moll to trust *her*, not Starfleet.

Tonight I'm watching #LifeItself, the last episode, and I can't believe I started watching this show in August of last year. It feels so fully a part of me, I love every molecule of it. Yes, even and especially the space tardigrades and mushrooms 🍄

11 years ago today, the world lost one of the great champions of cinema. We grew up watching Roger Ebert. His love of movies was infectious, and his writing still inspires us. Check out the fantastic doc #LifeItself, which is available to stream on Prime Video, Kanopy, and Hoopla.

I don’t think #LifeItself is particularly good. It’s got fundamental narrative and structure issues that are too glaring and obnoxious to gloss over. I do not, however, get the complete and total critical drubbing it’s dealing with either. I don’t get that at all. I’m perplexed.

Every time I see this movie #LifeItself advertised, I get disappointed all over again it's not a biopic starring Oscar Isaac as an inexplicably dashing Roger Ebert.

Watched #SelmaMovie and #LifeItself tonight. Both great & unexpectedly good pairing back to back. Tireless and unstoppable human spirits.
