Old corner shop

This was our corner shop when we were kids. It was at top of street surrounded by ‘big bombies’

There was ‘small bombies’ further down on the other side where we lived

That was in the 1950s but the pic is in the 1970s as finally the area was getting demolished

I had my X10 "smart home" in the 1980's. Lights on X10 timed schedule for when I was away. Remote button in my car to turn on the back porch light so I could see to park behind my house.
And a switch that turned the TV OFF at 11pm to remind my husband to come to BED. #HappyTimes #LifetimeAgo
