#LightSleeper is definitely one of Schrader’s better films. Susan Sarandon has never been better and Defoe is a perfect conduit for Schrader’s exploration of suffering and redemption. Michael Been’s music didn’t work at all for me though, I found it very jarring. #FilmCatchUp
