I started Moroccan Arabic and struggled with the book-based learning, and only found one platform that supports it in depth: #Glossika

It's a 'brute-force' audio approach, but it's the fastest I've been able to adopt a language. I'd found #LingQ just as useful for learning French & Spanish

Currently learning Dutch and my resources atm are mostly just LingQ for now!
I find it's a great tool to learn with once Duolingo starts getting a bit too easy. For me, having a background in German, this time came rather quickly.

先週は #LingQ の不具合により学習時間が伸びましたが対処方法を見つけたので元の時間に戻りました。細く長くがモットーなのでこれで良し。いくつもレッスンをこなしてくるとだいぶ前に学習した既知単語が出てきますが絵をイメージしずらい単語は高頻度で忘れてしまうのが悩みどころですね。現状こういった単語は反復で覚えるしか方法が思いつきませんが何度忘れても良い。また反復すれば良いだけと考えると気楽にできますね。

本当は1週間で24時間くらい英語学習に時間をかけたいが、そうすると1日あたり4時間くらい学習に時間をかけねばならず流石に難しい。休日を利用してそのせめて半分の12時間は少し背伸びすればいけるかなあ。

今週から勉強方法を少し変えている（変えていると言うよりは原点回帰に近いか）。変更内容は #Duolingo を辞めたことだ。理由はそもそもの私の勉強目的にあって、私は英語は英語のまま理解したいと考えている。Duolingoは基本的に綺麗な日本語に訳す訓練が多く、自分の目指す目的に合致しない。綺麗な日本語に訳すことは翻訳家やAI系の翻訳アプリに任せれば良いと思っている。その点 #LingQ は私の目的に合致する。さまざまな言葉に触れられることや、センテンスやワードの単位で好きなだけ繰り返し聞くことができるからだ。

今週も #LingQ をベースにして学習。読み物はあまり時間が無く読めなかった。だんだんと脳内で和訳しなくても理解できる文が増えてきたように感ずる。しかしこれも急に劇的に能力が上がるものではないと思っているので慢心せずに淡々と毎日コツコツを継続していきたい。
