First test print of this linocut. I think the chatter works to reinforce the dark gritty world but I'd love to hear thoughts.
Original sketch is based on an old WW1 photograph of soldiers on a road to which I added some elements.

This is a photograph of some printmaking in progress. There's a roller with a red handle loaded with mustard yellow ink, a lino block which is inked up with 2 colours, a wooden spoon which I use for transferring the print, and also 3 prints of the sun design which are printed onto khadi paper.
This is a photograph of some printmaking in progress - it features my bird design (which I might call 'Hope'); this is printed in powder blue. There are a few of these prints lying on a table, along with a tube of paint and also a wooden spoon which I use to transfer the image from the lino block onto the paper.
I had a very productive day yesterday, printing some of my designs so that I've got a nice stash to give to shops 😊

This is a photo of two linocuts which feature a bird flying with a leafy twig in its beak and stars in the background. They are pegged on a line to dry and there is a mirror in the bottom left of the photo where my arms and face appear as I'm taking the photo!
I managed to sneak in one last little linocut carving and printing session before I take a break for all the lovely festive stuff.
I'll pop this little print into my shop once it's dried and I've had time to take some 'proper' photos (without my face!!)
