SAN BERNARDINO (Update): #LittleMountain IC requesting 10 additional engines and 2 hand crews.
Forward progress has been stopped on the #LittleMountain fire.
By my count, no structures have been lost in all of southern California during the current PDS Red Flag Warning — all thanks to the fire crews who are exactly where they need to be within minutes. 👍
Winds near the brand new #LittleMountain fire are fairly strong, 30-40 mph and relative humidity is about 15%. Winds are due north and are pushing the fire toward a subdivision right now.
GAH. Just when I sign off, there's a new fire.
This is the #LittleMountain fire near 210/215 in San Bernardino.
Currently 30 acres with a rapid rate of spread, will be impacting structures in 15-20 min, no evacuation orders yet but there are fire fighting assets arriving to the fire now.
