Henry Lewis has dug into the funding provided directly to local actors by 5 major donors. He wanted to know if donors are delivering on their promises to increase local funding. The short answer: not yet.

Thought #2 after #climateweek: “locally-led” is being used too uncritically. Without realizing it, those blithely promoting #locallyled #adaptation risk making those most vulnerable to impacts responsible for fixing what are usually systemic causes not of their making.
