Back in the 20th C, when I first learned Buddleja (sometimes spelled Buddleia) it was in the #Loganiaceae or even Buddlejaceae, but nowadays it’s in the #Scrophulariaceae. This peripatetic genus of 111 spp. is more than just weedy B. davidii (pictured). It’s #Buddleja week! #Botany #PlantScience 🌾🧪
