One of the trees that grows really well in Guernsey’s climate is the gloriously bonkers Loquat. Everything it does is upside down - leaves drop in the Spring, flowers in the Autumn, sets fruit over the winter and produces delicious fruit early summer, all the time looking great

#LoveGuernsey but too many cars with little consideration for pedestrians. Vehicles expect to travel at their same speed, surfing pavements, or without slowing down when passing pedestrians (admittedly on narrow pavements). No wonder few children walk to school!
