They’re with me, as are you, and none shall take what is mine.” “I’m not yours.” The dragon crackles with angry electricity. “What did you say?” Reki clears his throat. He’s terrified, sure, but he’s also pissed off. He held it together pretty well considering that he was literally kidnapped by this creature. And his bird. But he’s had enough now so he lets his temper do the talking. “I said,” Reki repeats himself boldly, “I don’t belong to you.” The dragon’s scowl turns to laughter and that frightens Reki since he’d been trying really hard to be intimidating. The laughter doesn’t bode well. “I see that you’re still confused,” The dragon says, voice stern, “no other shall ever have you. You are a part of my hoard now, if I do not keep you within my sight—just like with all my treasures—you will be stolen. Likely by a dragon less generous and sweet than myself.”

“I’ll hit the shower first since I did all the work.” Reki said, giving Ainosuke a small smile before he started to make his way to the bathroom door. “You said the towels were under the sink, right?” Reki asked, putting a hand on the doorknob. Reki had ignored the sound of another pair of footsteps approaching him until another hand grabbed Reki’s on the doorknob and another rested on the door, right above Reki’s head. Reki’s breath hitched, his cheeks heating up. Reki gulped again before glancing up over his shoulder at Ainosuke. Ainosuke’s crimson eyes were narrowed on Reki, clear hunger in them and Reki was convinced that this time, he’ll get eaten. “Mind if I join you?” Ainosuke asked.
