Important uranium fuel test for FRM II successful An important fuel test for the conversion of TUM's FRM II research neutron source to low-enriched uranium has been successfully completed.

Researchers completed an #irradiation test of monolithic uranium-molybdenum fuel plates at the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Research #NeutronSource. This supports work on conversion to #LowEnrichedUranium and the 2025 licence application: go.tum.de/470087
