Great first evening at #LumiereDurham - a bit damp though, and having to close part of the trail due to rising river made the congestion in other parts worse. Great effort by artichoke to ease access with one way flow and an army of super friendly volunteers, /2

Ingenious awardee Kromek have joined #LumiereDurham for Bright Ideas - revealing the hidden engineering that powers the UK’s largest light festival.
Local students, artists and engineers created Iron Horse Junction, to inspire the next generation in STEM. See it at the final Lumiere 13-15 November.
