Applications for AIME 2026 Hosted Buyers open as show expands again AIME 2026 is already shaping up to be a standout event, with more than 80% of exhibition space sold or reserved and hosted buyer applications now officially open for Asia Pacific’s premier business events trade show. Taking place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from 9–11 February 2026 , AIME will return with an expanded footprint across 16,500 sq m to accommodate more than 700 exhibitors, 700 hosted buyers, and more than 20,000 pre-scheduled appointments—marking what will be the biggest edition yet delivered by Event Director Silke Calder and her team at Talk2 Media & Events.

Culinary Journey: Starlight Five Chefs Dinner at MCEC Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) proudly sponsored the Starlight Children Foundation’s Five Chefs Dinner last Thursday, welcoming five of Melbourne’s top chefs to raise enough funds to grant 29 life-changing Starlight Wishes. Guests were treated to canapes by MCEC’s Executive Chef, Peter Haycroft, and a five-course degustation with paired wines curated by leading Victorian chefs, including Jacqui Challinor (Nomad), Josep Espuga (pt Leo Estate), Guy Grossi (Grossi), Benjamin Cooper (Chin Chin), and Alejandro Saravia (Victoria by Farmer’s Daughters).

There was a Leonardo Da Vinci #exhibit at the Lume in #MCEC. It was an immersive experience where they told the story of his life and his works. They had on display original pages from his codex. His mind was truly impressive!

AIME 2025 wrap AIME owner, the Melbourne Convention Bureau, and the event manager, Talk2 Media & Events, were certainly delighted with this year’s event as AIME 2025 broke records for its size, numbers of hosted buyers, exhibitors and attendees. The show floor was certainly buzzing as local and international buyers engaged with the exhibitors. Some more engaging than others with offerings of gin (from Darwin) ginger beer (from New Zealand) and tea from Hobbiton.
