Media Monday #769 – Überstunden, Steuererklärung 2025 und Elternfilmabend Nachdem ich letzte Woche einmal wieder 14% mehr gearbeitet habe, als ich ich eigentlich müsste, war ich Freitagabend entsprechend platt. Dafür habe ich auch ein paar Tage zum Überstundenabbau eingereicht. Um mittelfristig zumindest auf unter 100 Stunden zu rutschen. So oder so war ich wirklich glücklich, als endlich das Wochenende startete. Freitagabend waren die Kids beide unterwegs, so dass der Abend recht unspektakulär verlief.

Media Monday #768 – Urlaubsplanung, Fortbildung beim BRK und Theaterbesuch Die Zeit rennt. Auch in diesem Moment, denn kurz nach dem ich diese Zeilen geschrieben haben werde, besuchen wir noch eine Theatervorstellung. Mit der erweiterten Familie, sprich auch meiner Schwiegermutter, welche den Eingriff letzte Woche glücklicherweise gut überstanden hat. Ansonsten war das Wochenende eher ruhig: Das Zappelinchen war Samstag und Sonntag jeweils den ganzen Tag auf einer Fortbildung des Bayerischen Roten Kreuzes (BRK).

Media Monday #767 – Herzensangelegenheiten und auf der Terrasse lesen Schon wieder Sonntagabend und damit Zeit für einen Wochenrückblick: Letzte Woche war ich an drei Tagen im Büro und es gab viel zu klären. Ich habe nach wie vor das Gefühl als würde ich nur Themen hinterherrennen und viel liegt außerhalb meines Einflussbereichs. Damit gut umzugehen ist eine stetige Herausforderung. Ich muss mir klarmachen, dass es nur der Job ist. Das fällt mir schwer.

Media Monday #765 – Zimmer-Glow-up, Fastenzeit und Urlaub in Hawkins Schon ist der wohlverdiente Urlaub wieder vorbei. Doch immerhin war er erfolgreich, sprich wir haben die bereits in der Vorwoche angefangene Transformation zum Teenie-Zimmer abgeschlossen: Nachdem wir am Sonntag noch alle Möbel aus dem Zimmer des Zwergofanten entfernt bzw. in die Mitte des Zimmers verfrachtet und mit Folie abgeklebt hatten, konnten wir am Montag direkt mit dem Streichen beginnen. Zunächst die Decke und Dachschräge in weiß und danach die Seitenwände in der neuen Farbe (siehe zweites Foto unten).

Media Monday #762 – Schulausfall, Schneechaos und ein Solo-Filmabend Nun ist der Januar auch schon wieder vorbei. Er war geprägt durch Schnee. So viel Schnee, dass vergangenen Montag sogar bei uns der Präsenzunterricht ausgesetzt wurde. Wir hatten Mitte der Woche um die 40-50 cm Schnee. Inzwischen ist schon einiges wieder geschmolzen und dennoch türmen sich, gerade auf den Gehwegen, noch personenhohe Schneeberge, die ein Vorankommen oft schwierig machen. Trotz der Herausforderungen, was die Fortbewegung angeht, mag ich die Atmosphäre.
