Our short film's swooping into this year’s Māoriland! My brother and I are gonna road trip it down to Ōtaki for this Indigenous film rave. The Charm of the Magpies is playing in the late Friday night section Ti Whatiwha te Pō, which is such a great placement.

@furfest.org was such an amazing con being back after 5 years and stepping back into the community again, I felt so welcomed and I “thank you” so much for the creators I got to meet and the sweetest conversations I had with them, made my experience ten times EPIC!! See ya next year #MFF2026!
I expected some severe post-con blues. Instead, I am filled with gratitude, excitement and inspiration. This was such an incredible weekend, and I am already prepping for next year. I am overwhelmed in the best possible way. Til then.
