Southeast region electricity prices experienced shifts in the recent 30-day average
Electricity prices in the Southeast region have experienced significant shifts over the past 30 days, with on-peak rates decreasing across several hubs while off-peak rates have seen more modest changes. Notably, Florida's on-peak rates have surged, increasing by nearly a tenth from 27.01 to 28.09, and off-peak prices in the state have also risen, albeit at a slower pace. Meanwhile, other regions such as Texas and the MISO Arkansas Hub have seen relatively more modest adjustments, with some on-peak rates decreasing while others remain stable or have decreased slightly.
