A view of the sunrise over Superior, Wisconsin on April 5, 2026 from the back yard of my house. There is still snow on the ground after back to back storm systems, but the heat of spring is doing its best to melt it. At least Easter Sunday has a sunny start to it. Happy Easter to one and all!
Happy #Easter Sunday from the #Northland!

We finally get a break from the #snow this morning, but a few #snowsquall showers may pass through […]

Happy Easter! If you're hunting for eggs, hopefully they're not buried under yesterday's snow. The forecast is pretty seasonable, even if it's on the cooler side. Highs top out near 40° with minor melting, along with a few isolated sprinkles in the afternoon. #ndwx #mnwx
Happy Easter! It's rather seasonable with areas of snow and rain this afternoon and evening. Brace for a cooldown Monday into Tuesday. #WeatherLoon #mnwx

A wide twilight sky dominates the photo, layered with swollen, fast-moving storm clouds whose tops catch a faint cold light in pale blue and lavender while their underbellies sink into deeper charcoal and blue-gray. The sky shifts in a smooth gradient from lighter icy blue near the horizon to richer dusky blue overhead, making the cloud masses feel heavy and three-dimensional. Along the bottom edge, a suburban shopping strip sits in near silhouette, dotted with glowing streetlights, a red Target sign at right, a Taco Bell sign at left, low storefronts, and a few cars on the road.
Still wet, still cold. #mnwx
