An animated pixelart version of the Magic: The Gathering card "Ghost-Lit Nourisher" from Saviours of Kamigawa. The art features a japanese-style temple behind a torii gate at dusk in the background. The sky is brown and green and a path with some stairs leads up to it. Leaves from dark trees blow in the wind. Stone lanters stand before the stairs and to the right in the foreground. A ghostly figure flickers into existence in front of the viewer. It's a humanoid spirit wearing a rice hat and a simple light brown robe. It has long, flowing, red-brown hiar. In one hand it carries a green lantern with wisps circling around it. The other hand hides its face, beckoning the viewer. Green and brown wisps emerge from the figure's hunched back. Then it flickers out of existence once more. As the figure flickers in and out of existence, the card's text does too.
It's been a while since I did an MtG card.
Ghost-Lit Nourisher has always been one of my favourite MtG artworks. The eerie atmosphere is just impeccable. :)
