So NYC.

Full of sushi and curry. NYC food really hitting that sweet spot 😋
Life is weird because this project I’m a part of and went to NYC for is a new height for my career but then also I’m having to go back to Texas for an indefinite amount of time because my dad is in hospice… it really does all happen at once sometimes

Detroit style is the superior pizza.
The worst pizza ever was Joe's in NYC.
A black and white photograph of the sinuous concrete supports of Little Island in the Hudson River appearing to curve over the Manhattan skyline, including One World Trade Center. The large, heavy expanse of plain concrete somehow seems to float overhead.
One of the most enticing sights in NYC was Little Island from a distance and below. It seems almost upside down, getting visually heavier as it rises out of the water. #photography #BlackAndWhite

Update: Got home from NYC and first thing I did was open my @homefield.bsky.social delivery and The Good Brand did it again.
In middle school I went to Duke's Young Writers Camp. There was a kid there from NYC who said his brother was a rapper named DJ Seafoam Green. He'd rap: "Seafoam is fine, yeah, Seafoam is fine". He never shut up. It drove us all crazy. But I thought, that's a good character name. I'll remember that.
#NYC is expanding its #3K childcare program with ~700 new seats (300 more coming), aiming to ensure families get local spots; prior administration criticized for weakened outreach & unused school capacity, even as demand stays about the same as last year.

Daytime scene in a public park of a floral City, facing a bed of yellow tulips and a garden area with well-cared for, flowering trees and bushes; in the foreground, there is a small black sign that reads "Welcome to Central Park" with a detailed set of rules listed in English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese, as well as a QR code added especially for dogs; the flowers are vibrant and thriving - generating excitement for the spring; the sky in the distance is covered in a patch of clouds, although it is quite bright outside.
Daytime scene in a public park of a floral City, facing a large bronze statue of Alice, the Mad Hatter, and the White Rabbit from Lewis Carroll's classic book, Alice in Wonderland; the statue is situated on a patio in the Conservatory area of the park, overlooking the Conservatory Water and surrounded by vibrant springtime green trees and bushes; in the distance, part of one of the City's skylines stands tall against a marbled, partly cloudy sky.
Daytime scene in a public park of a floral City, overlooking a great pool of known as the Conservatory Water which has now been filled for the season; there are floaters in the water, but no ducks today, and no model sailboat races quite yet; surrounding the water are bright green trees - their growing leaves a welcome sight to all; there is also an LPQ (Le Pain Quotidien) coffee shop, but it is closed for the day - the other one deeper in the park is still open for another hour or so; the horizon is full of large residential buildings and skyscrapers; the sky is partly blue and partly scattered with uniquely shaped puffy clouds.

Mamdani has so far been successful in his first ~100 days as Mayor of NYC, and the New York Post has so little on him that they've resorted to...
...blaming him for the Mets being 7-16

He would make a great future of presidential candidate. Being the new mayor to NYC I don't know if he'd run in 2028, but we need opposition against the billionaire class and leaders with the spine to do it. NO MORE BLIND LOYALTY to ISRAEL UNDERWATER WAR CRIMINAL NETANYAHU

(1966) Garage/psych from Canton, ,OH . Actually a demo they recorded. A band member took it to NYC and they secured a 6 record contract with Reprise. Condition? They charge their name to "The In Crowd". But luckily "Walk In the Sun" remains credited to The Angry.

From left to right: actors Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff, and Lindsay Mendez all locking pinkies in a pinky promise. Dressed in period appropriate clothing for the American 1960’s as their characters (Charley, Franklin, and Mary respectively) in the 2025 movie production of Merrily We Roll Along.
Finally watched Merrily We Roll Along on Netflix. It’s about 3 friends that want to be in showbiz in NYC in the 70s. But I really should’ve known how sad it was going to be; it’s Stephen Sondheim. lol. Like watching a Train Wreck in reverse. 10/10 would recommend. Would not watch again. 😮💨😂

Good piece. Didn't know the Obam-alums were in a split but not surprising and maybe, maybe, Obama will be energized by this guy focused on making #NYC lives better.
