A romper length jumpsuit hangs on a hanger. It has very wide legs and princess seams running from hem to shoulder. It is white with delft blue flowers and leaves running up it in stripes of varying widths. It has a v neck.
Last, I am making this jumpsuit at the moment.. this is a wearable toile, emphasis on the wearable. The real thing will be made in a dark, floral stripe slub cotton and full length. I adore this fabric, and the jumpsuit has so far been a pleasure to make. Princess seams so easy to adjust. #mahitoi

Selection of nice looking fabric in check and spots
NZ sewists, I don't know if you need to know, but just in case: Backstreet Bargains currently have heavily reduced fabric from Drapers. It's here on page 2 of their 'newest arrivals'. I bought the knit dots for $20 a metre and also bought the linen check near full price 3 or 4 weeks ago! #mahitoi

A white cotton voile fabric with broderie anglaise embroidered cut outs and a cream with black outline abstract print.
A pale, bright blue broderie anglaise cotton fabric.
A super light, woven cotton fabric with a peachy pale pink background, printed with orange and sepia toned flowers and leaves in a painterly style.
I have recently been utterly blessed by the second hand fabric gods. I have arguably also been blessed by the first hand fabric gods. Projects ahoy!! #mahitoi
Crafters of Bluesky! Sewists, specifically. Has everyone seen this fun new social media/stash tracker/journal/review app Threadloop (previously Backstitch). Like Ravelry but for sewing? It's amazing, I am loving it, and oh dear my pattern wishlist is growing. www.threadloop.app #mahitoi
Photo of a part of a paint by numbers image, the segments are really tiny & I am unlikely to remain in the lines
I am so unnerved by how small the segments are, I do not have a rull dainty hand like that 😅

I am preparing a piece for an online embroidery exhibition in 8 weeks. Up early to capture my whakaaro/kaupapa and shape the narrative before I start stitching. I am creating a floral piece based on Hine-te-iwaiwa/Maramataka/Rakaunui. 🌸🌺 #MahiToi #TuiWhakaniko
