Makemkv claims theyer cli tool for makemkv has all the functionality as the gui. this is not true. For example it cant automaticly create new folder with the disc name on export and theres no option to change the name in the metadata.

Oh damn it. When you MakeMKV these, they don't play a proper audio track on the Roku MediaPlayer.

Anyone who uses MakeMKV to rip Blurays probably already know the beta key has expired, and the owner is MIA, not even giving out permanent keys to payment processors.
So, I wrote a small script that spoofs the date and time to get MakeMKV working for now.

Well shit. #MakeMKV dev disappeared and their hard coded beta license keys expired, & it's not possible to buy a permanent key bc their payment processor shut them out for not sending them out.
Seems like this project may have literally run into the bus problem...

I just feed the discs in while I'm watching TV anyway. A 5 TB drive fits in my pocket and holds 1000 DVDs. The best part is bringing huge boxes of DVDs I don't need anymore to the thrift store. #MakeMKV
