(사진=JYP엔터테인먼트) 앞서 킥플립은 첫 팬 콘서트 ‘2026 KickFlip FAN-CON < From KickFlip, To WeFlip >’ 전국 투어를 진행하며 팬들과 가까이 호흡했다. 지난 2월 28일 열린 대구 공연 2회차가 끝난 뒤 현장에서 3월 선공개곡과 4월 미니 4집 발매 소식을 직접 알리며 다음 행보를 예고했다. 새 미니 4집의 제목은 ‘My First Kick’으로 결정됐다. 소속사 JYP엔터테인먼트는 3월 6일 0시 공식 SNS 채널을 통해 앨범명과 선공개 음원 곡명 ‘Twenty’를 함께 공개했고, 같은 시각 ‘Twenty’ 뮤직비디오 티저를 선보이며 활동 분위기를 끌어올렸다. 티저 영상은 파도 소리와 함께 푸른 바다 풍경으로 시작해 여행지에서 포착된 멤버들의 순간을 차례로 담았다. 실제로 전원이 20대의 출발점에 선 킥플립이 만든 장면들이 이어지며 한 편의 청춘 영화 예고편 같은 인상을 남겼고, “Twenty, I'm Twenty, I'm Twenty, I'm Twenty, I'm fine”이라는 가사가 벅차오르는 멜로디와 겹쳐지며 완곡에 대한 기대를 더했다. 킥플립은 데뷔 이후 짧은 기간 동안 여러 활동 지표를 쌓아 왔다. 2025년 1월 20일 미니 1집 ‘Flip it, Kick it!’과 타이틀곡 ‘Mama Said (뭐가 되려고?)’로 정식 데뷔했고, 이후 지상파 음악방송 1위, 각종 #가요 시상식 신인상, 글로벌 초대형 페스티벌 출연 등 성과를 기록했다. 데뷔 1주년이었던 2026년 1월 20일에는 디지털 싱글 ‘From KickFlip, To WeFlip’을 발표했다. 이어 전국 5개 도시에서 12회 규모로 진행된 첫 팬 콘서트 투어를 2월 28일 대구 공연을 끝으로 마무리하며 ‘K팝 슈퍼 루키’로 불리는 활동 흐름을 이어갔다. 이 같은 행보 속에서 선공개곡 ‘Twenty’와 미니 4집 ‘My First Kick’은 데뷔 이후 쌓아 온 활동을 잇는 다음 단계로 자리한다. 팬 콘서트에서 직접 발매 계획을 알린 만큼, 현장과 음원 활동을 오가는 일정이 향후 킥플립 활동 축을 이루게 됐다. 한편 킥플립의 선공개 음원 ‘Twenty’는 3월 9일 오후 6시 각종 음원 사이트에서 들을 수 있으며, 미니 4집 ‘My First Kick’은 4월 6일 오후 6시 정식 발매된다.
