A bunch of colorful increasing function graphs. Some grow at a reasonable-looking rate, some remain near zero for a long time and then increase quickly
A bunch of colorful curves. One starts at 1 and decreases fast, all of the other ones start at zero, increase until they reach a maximum value, and then slowly decrease, approaching zero at infinity. The maxima get smaller and smaller, and more and more shifted to the right.
And here are the individual terms (not summed). The colors are still related to those in the previous toot, but I mixed in a little bit of black to ensure a reasonable amount of contrast with the white background.

Same as above, but normalized between 0 and 1, that is, squished into a horizontal strip. Visually, this results in a foliation into curved strips that start from the top left and stretch to the bottom right, each strip being more squished and horizontally leaning than the one on its left.

The area under the exponential curve split into colored areas according to its Taylor expansion at 0, with the low-order terms at the bottom. High-order areas are squished at the top
Same, but low-order terms are at the top. Areas look like vertical-leaning strips with a width that's remarkably similar from one strip to another
Decomposition of the exponential function as the sum:
x⁰/0! + x¹/1! + x²/2! + x³/3! + ...
* On the left, low-order terms are at the bottom.
