None dared to accompany us on this journey. The Shadowdark isn't just a pit plunged in darkness, it is a living cavern that feeds on every aspect of life. There's no color here, no echo even. Not even spiders or roaches nest here in these caves. Sometimes, I feel I can't even trust my own shadow's movements... But I should focus on holding guard while the others rest.
