NYC’s Residential Organics Capture Rate Increases In Spring 2025 | BioCycle New York City’s (NYC) citywide residential organics capture rate was 8.8% in April 2025 and hit 10.4% in May, even though enforcement was halted April 18th.

Samantha MacBride, PhD, Adjunct Associate Professor at the Marxe School, is featured in the latest BioCycle article for her in-depth quarterly analysis of NYC’s residential organics capture rates.
