🌊#OTD in #History 11 October 1982, the sunken Tudor ship the #MaryRose was raised from the seabed through a major maritime salvage project orchestrated by the #MaryRoseTrust. The ship and its artefacts are a fascinating time capsule that can be seen at the #MaryRoseMuseum.

Went to the @MaryRoseMuseum yesterday for a birthday afternoon tea and personal tour of the museum given by Henry. I've seen the ship a few times in various states of conservation but this time - without the mist! Fantastic experience!
