Nice of Matt Tebbutt to show up for #MasterChefUK final, even though he was only there for half the episodes

Comes across as being quite smug and patronising, still nowhere near as bad as Gregg Wallace 🤮

Wanted Caroline to win but they sent three men into the final 🥱

🏆 I had picked out who I thought was the leading contestant going in to the final cook-off, chose the leading two after the judging, guessed my #MasterChefTheProfessionals winner incorrectly!

Tebbitt's comments gave strongest clue.

#MasterChef:TheProfessionals is shown on the BBC. The BBC don't show adverts because the British public pay a licence fee of £180 a year for every household. So I don't like it when the shows that they broadcast feel as if they are a promotional video for overpriced eating establishments.

Last night's #MasterChefUK felt like a promotional video for The Goring Hotel. I endured that episode, despite Daniel Clifford being in it 🤮

But when I turned on tonight's edition and it sounded like a promotional videa for a restaurant in the Dolomites 🥱 I soon switched over to women's football ⚽

🤵‍♂️ I’ve watched enough seasons of the #GreatBritishMenu to recognise a few of its contestants in amongst the cheffie guests in tonight’s round.

I shudder at the Kirsch cream cigars. I’ve had that flavour in chocolate before and I had to spit it out 🥴 Yuck!

So disappointing. 😥
Thought they were a potential winner from the outset.

🤵‍♂️ When I see the Chef’s Table round of #MasterChefTheProfessionals I wonder how they divvy up the four courses 🤔 Do the contestants get to pick? If so, how are clashes resolved? Or are they given their course at random? Can they swap around?

Succotash recipe The Hairy Bikers' classic succotash is comfort food at its best. Smoky ham, smooth creamy beans and plenty of vegetables.

Had some American #food, succotash, appearing on #MasterchefUK today, that doesn't happen very often 😉

Suppose I'm going to have to try making that myself now 😁

never going to stop thinking about the guy on #MasterChefTheProfessionals whose child wrote a letter that thanked him for cucking. #MasterChefUK

MasterChef: The Professionals 2026, Episode 13: Verisimilitude of a Conference Buffet There are cathedrals everywhere for those with the eyes to see. Every time you thought this episode was about to conclude, another chef popped into existence.

started the recaps for Knockout Week on #MasterChefTheProfessionals: ariadnereviews.com/2026/03/13/m... the world's most unfortunate quail, supporting Women's Wrongs, progressively worsening ice creams and attic-dwelling Patrick. #MasterChefUK

I am afraid I will never stop thinking about the guy on #MasterChefTheProfessionals who removed all the bones of a quail, replaced them with duck pate to reform the quail and then served up this hideous example of culinary taxidermy completely raw. #MasterChefUK

Masterchef contestant putting special pepper through his chantilly trifle cream. Explaining "it's milder than regular pepper".

I says "Yeah, because you don't want red hot chantilly peppers".

Nothing.

Must be worth thousands

Must be worth thousands

Not sure what budget is for #MasterChefUK #MasterChef:TheProfessionals but the #food that they have in their 'larder' for invention tests alone must be worth a fortune 💷

The most expensive seafood, e.g. halibut and turbot, things like morels are always BIIIGGG, enormous fillets of beef 💰

Jerusalem artichoke recipes Jerusalem artichokes are not to be confused with globe artichokes. Jerusalem artichokes belong to the sunflower family; it is the plant’s small knobbly underground tubers that are eaten. These sweetly...

There are loads of ways to cook them

I've only just discovered them so I'm still experimenting

Saw them used on #MasterChefUK and thought I'd give them a try

I've used globe artichokes for years but not Jerusalem artichokes, mainly because they're quite hard to find

🍟 All caught up with #MasterChefTheProfessionals for this week.

We’re down to the final 10. We’ve seen some inventions, pop-up menus, and family favourites.

We’ve even had a few past MasterChef contestants in the pop-up guest lists! Fun to recall them.

🥮 Watching the start of this week’s #MasterChefTheProfessionals rounds, with 13 contenders being whittled down to 10, and I am reminded of my amusement when the chefs or judges talk in terms of “home made” this-or-that 🥹 In this case Raspberry Jam.

MasterChef: The Professionals 2026, Episode 12: The Bravery of the Bowl I’m not sure what he thought the judging criteria was. Are you ready to mince?

and here's the last Quarterfinal Recap of #MasterChefTheProfessionals: ariadnereviews.com/2026/03/08/m... the loving union of Man and Big Chicken, surprisingly complimentary bagworm-y lettuce, the evolution of War-rationed Guineafowl and mummified duck. #MasterChefUK
