VST's are referenced from within DAW's, they do not exist within them. Max for Live is trapped inside Ableton so that would make it through. But that's it. Therefore VST's do not port using WinE on linux and neither do they on native linux Bitwig installations. Vendors have to provide their own linux ports e.g. u-he + Tracktion "Oh I see! Then sadly the wrappers won't make any difference. They load the actual plugins inside them. So if Live can't access the plugins from the bottle, Max won't be able to access them either. : ( "
