I only remember a few of the field trips I went on in school, but I distinctly remember the feeling of riding the bus to or from them. Being not at all social, I spent a lot of time looking out the window and watching the landscape pass me by.

I never used either, but it got me thinking about Shadowrun and a playing a pixie decker. I would fully believe that some decker community would revive AIM because it's too old for megacorp systems to recognize.

Batman: The Animated Series is a classic that I was able to rewatch fairly recently. RIP Kevin Conroy, you truly brought Batman to life.
Then that friend fell off and I ran over her with the tube before going all the way down and nearly going into the little pond across the driveway before I was able to stop.

I was a mature student on an art course at college. Our trip was a week in Berlin. One highlight was the film museum in which there was a Ray Harry Hausen exhibition of models from his films. Here's a few pictures from my sketchbook.

I didn't really have a toy that got away, but I never had a console and distinctly remember the game Battalion Wars. Turns out the game doesn't look much like I remember it looking like, so I drew something closer to what I remember.
Day 29 - 90s Cartoons/Anime
It was only a matter of time before one of these was focused on Dragon Ball Z, another one of my longtime favorites. I didn't get to draw my favorite character (Broly) but I absolutely love Buu, so it's okay.

Count Duckula, a vegetarian vampire duck accompanied by servants Egor and Nanny, were the stars of a British animated show created by Cosgrove Hall Productions. It was for kids but I watched it when I came home from work. Great cast and great humour.

I don't recall book fairs when I was at school, however I do recall the mobile library visiting so everyone could choose a book for the term. Authors gave talks on their latest books. I think Andrew Davies, author of Conrad's War visited.

Our shopping precinct was on one level with around 80 stores, one of which was Woolworths, which sold almost everything - music, blank video tapes, including toys. I kitted out my first apartment with household essentials from this store.
