On #InternationalDayForWomenAndGirlsInScience I’m unfortunately not surprised that no #WomenInSTEM #MeTooSTEM activist paid tribute to 23-year-old Elina Hojjati, a microbiology student in #Tehran, shot and murdered by the security forces of #Iran’s Islamic regime.
I'm just imagining what impact this policy could have had in 2017 when the #MeTooSTEM floodgates were opening, instead of using it specifically to stifle academic freedom.

Deleted my replies but the Love Hypothesis isn’t a cute little book if you’re a woman in science who graduated in the last 10 years. The book repeatedly makes uses Title IX and sexual harassment as a punchline and then gets worse from there. Lots of dogwhistle jabs at #MeTooSTEM. Don’t recommend!
