#mechatober2025 comes to a close with the final prompt "ancient". I'm borrowing from the design language of both TotK and the Stone Golems in RoR2 to create this thing.

31 Ancient. I wanted something special for this final prompt. I started this design in dark tan to show its age, then made a pristine version. Finally I put it on a base, posed it lying down, and built up a landscape around it. A very fun way to wrap things up. #LEGO #Mechatober2025 #Mechatober

#Mechatober Day 1 - Recon

A white mech, holding a strangely shaped curved sword, with a huge structure resembling an insect's abdomen dragging behind it, featuring many slots for small drones, with some drones crawling on the mech. Standing in front of the mech is its pilot, an insectoid person with moth-like features. This mecha is the Ettercap from the fantasy mech TTRPG "Aether Nexus".

Most Apparatus were forged during the Hive War a millennium ago. Generation after generation, countless Knights piloted them into countless battlefield.

But they were never meant to be weapons in people's conflict. Once, their purpose was to guard this shattered world.

30 Mass Produced. I thought about using olive green for Swarm yesterday, but quickly realized it'd be better suited to today's prompt. This is a take on the rather common walking tank idea. A simple design intended to be churned out and flood the battlefield. #LEGO #Mechatober2025 #Mechatober

The Raptor 4 is essentially a pirated version of the Everest. Its strange weight distribution results in poor handling, and its cooling line design is flawed, making the cockpit as hot as a sauna. But like the real Everest, it's durable and easy to repair.

29 Swarm. Hadn't used coral yet; it's a lovely color, though part availability is a bit limited. But I figured I'd keep this design small and simple, then make lots of variants. The Aun version of the Barricade pattern mech uses a type of instantaneous crystallization technology to rapidly generate roadblocks and defensive fortifications on the battlefield

#Mechatober no 26, Race.

It's basically a skating mech with jet engines for fists, that naruto-runs.

I like the idea, not so much the execution, so it's one I'll return to at another point.

27 Otherworldly. Started out trying to make stubby legs and a tall body, but wound up with the opposite. As is often the case, color also dictated the design; I wanted as much consistency as possible. It really came together when I found those roof corners. #LEGO #Mechatober2025 #Mechatober

#mechatober2025 day 26 is race. My mind immediately wandered to the shot of unit 01 sprinting through the city. and then i made it kitty. had a lot of fun spending a longer time on this one and drawing a background and foreground!

I don't know why, after the monowheel tank, I was struggling for an idea for tread: All I had to do was design a robot that used the instability of a trike to ruin the functionality of a tank! :D

26 Race. I hadn't used lime green yet—had to remedy that. Originally I just planned on a Heavy Gear-style secondary movement system, but wound up making this a transformer instead!
