—attended a faculty meeting yesterday and completed another round of #mending on this old shirt in good company, while listening to academic reports and voting. It developed a dozen holes in the last wash, so hand washing from now on! Embroidery thread on cotton.

How long will I be mending this former kilt for? Probably forever.

I’ve not touched it for a year probably- it takes a lot of patience to replicate the twill weave with single strands of Laine St Pierre. Other, more easily finishable things, grab my attention.
