#Mersenne primes are of the form 2ᵖ -1 where p is prime. Except for 3, they all end in 1 or 7 & they can be turned into a perfect # through (2ᵖ -1 )(2ᵖ⁻¹), which will end in 6 or 8. More have been discovered in the last 25 years than in any other generation. Latest(21-10-2024) is 2¹³⁶²⁷⁹⁸⁴¹-1.
